Description
When Tahno’s mother decided to take him along to visit her cousin in the Southern Water Tribe, she thought the cranky, aloof boy would finally make some friends in the new place. She was thoroughly pleased to discover her cousin’s neighbour, Tonraq, had a daughter.
After Tahno and Tonraq’s daughter had bended out several holes in buildings during a fight, she stopped being so sure of it being an entirely good idea. Besides, the strange little girl had happened to discover she could firebend by complete accident, which resulted in relatively harmless, still visible damage of Tahno’s hair, and the latter’s enraged attempt to bend a large block of ice at the other child. Tahno’s mother lost all hopes of her son integrating with peers in a normal, safe way and never took him to the South Pole again.
Okay, so it didn't happen, but it's still a nice headcanon.
My Tumblr is currently crawling with Tahorra and I hate to admit I haven't drawn anything else for some time. >_> So I'm presenting a tidbit of what's going on in there just as a warning to stay clear off my Tumblr account.
You know what though? I hate being obsessed with a ship. It's so embarrassing >_>

I understand being obsessed with a ship because I'm obsessed with Korrasami. (But I like Tahnorra too.) I like the idea of Tahno and Korra meeting as kids and Korra accidentally damaging Tahno's hair with her firebending.
